Sale Email Sample For All

Hi team. Someone else's email to me gave me this idea. Some of us have a ton of followers, some of us not so many. I have decided to go through to each of my followers and every one of my previous sales and send them this form email. I copy and paste it and the only thing I go in and change is the name it is addressed to. Here is the example:

Just wanted to let you know we are having a GIANT Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale with 30% off of your entire purchase at check out with coupon code 'BLACK30'! Sales is now through Monday night midnight!!

If nothing else, I expect to see an increase in views as people out of curiosity might click...might fav....MIGHT buy. It take some time and I am sitting here and just doing it one after another, but I hope it turns out to be beneficial. Each of you that are following me will likely get this email from me. lol

Anyway, wanted to share team in case you wanted to join in. If you do, we can use this thread to discuss if we saw an increase in view or sales and such.

Hey Dana,

So I tried this idea, and messaged quite a few members that have followed me, and guess the bummer.. I got a message from Etsy saying that this kind of emailing is considered spam, good intentions or not, and so I guess a member complained that I had sent them a Thank you for being an etsy friend, and as a thank you we want to offer you 10% off.
I didn't think that was something wrong, but I guess it can be seen that way. Just thought you guys would want to know before you get an email like that from etsy.

I know, it was weird. I was trying to be sweet by giving out a deal, and got that so I stopped. Lol.. go figure, its been that kind of year..
