NEW SECTION PROPOSAL TO ETSY

Not all of us are lucky enough to have a boutique or have a daily job to count on. I want to speak for everyone that earns his/her life through Etsy.

I recently contacted Etsy Support, telling it's the "housewives" that created the Etsy today. Because it was a platform where they can make money through their hobbies. They had a great opportunity to have friends on the teams, because Etsy has a tool named "treasury" where people were promoting other shops. And these treasuries could make the "Front Page" that would create a childish joy, but actually you could do many sales from there. It was like hitting the jackpot. When Etsy removed that feature, I was like a child that her favorite toy has been taken from her. Because I was spending many many hours on Etsy, faving shops & items, creating treasuries and suddenly I was lost. Few weeks later, we discovered "Trending Items" feature, a place we could promote our shops by getting lots of faves and views from the teams. Sometimes it could get 18-hour work a day but I couldn't complain personally because I made many sales. I even gave up my architecture career. 2 years after that, Etsy made it's decision again (right before the holiday season) without asking the community and removed these tools. And right now, there's no place on Etsy that we can promote ourselves by our effort. All we can do is to have good SEO and wait for an order.

SUMMERY///
My proposal to Etsy, that we (the high percentage of Etsy, the housewives, or any shop owner that earns his/her life through Etsy) need a section on the Etsy Homepage & Etsy App, where we can be featured by our effort. For example, it can be named "Most favorited today" and the ones that get more faves can be featured in this section that day. So that we could still play our games on the teams and keep the community together.

We are open for suggestions but we indeed need support.
