Wedding Patterns

I know that February thru June are considered traditional wedding months, but wondering about this time of year. Is it worth listing wedding gowns now or is it an open season.......Champagne and shotgun in hand waiting for you comments

Re: Wedding Patterns

From a buyer/bride perspective, I've always considered wedding gown patterns to be open season, especially vintage ones. And if they're looking for a vintage gown pattern in the first place, they probably aren't your traditional bride going down the aisle in the "style du jour" dress. :)

Re: Wedding Patterns

My opinion would be to list them now. A wedding dress is can be very labor intensive to sew and may require a few muslins to get the fit just right. Because of this, I'd say that someone would want the pattern before the actual wedding season in order to have time to sew it. :]

Re: Wedding Patterns

Ditto to what Rebecca said. Weddings take a lot of time and planning. A bride will need time to source fabric and seamstress [unless making it herself] so purchasing a pattern will not be a last minute thing.
