So sometimes I have a hard time thinking of good titles and tags for video game related items. I am definitely guilty of keyword stuffing my titles, but I am finding out that it's actually working. I've been changing all of my listings a few at a time and improving my titles and tags. A few things I ask myself when creating tags are:
1. Name of video game (I guess this is a given!)
2. What system was the game released for?
3. Does the video game have an alternate titles (such as some of the early Final Fantasies FF6 = FF3 and so on)
4. The tags geek and geekery have been helping tremendously
5. If you make a lot of items inspired by older games, consider using "retro gaming" or "retro video game" as a tag in a few of your listings
6. And of course what character is featured in your item
I am by NO means an SEO expert, so I thought I would start this thread to help each other out with getting our items found. If you have any tips for SEO for game items, please feel free to share! Everyone here has awesome items, and they deserve to be found!
