Copyright Infringement

Dude, I had no idea that so many sellers were so concerned with copyright before I started going into the forums and then I saw them. And they are plentiful. It made me wonder if you had permission to sell your video game items, if you just arent concerned or if you just didnt know? I'm borderline I dont care because there is safety in numbers but it definitely made me think about new items I am going to list.

Does anyone have any opinions or advice about the subject?

Re: Copyright Infringement

Hi Karen. Trust me, It got me nervous, too. I hadn't really thought too much into it until, like you said, perusing the forums. I do know that Disney in particular is going after shops.

Re: Copyright Infringement

Hello, I had a problem myself with a video game editor (I can't tell wich one), and I was so scared that I re-did all my shop with new items :-(

I had no idea I was breaking the law, espiaclly because I'm French and I thought the rules were more tolerant with copyright (but maybe I'm wrong here) and also because there are so many items inspired by films, video games comics... on Etsy ; I thought it was OK.

I hope you won't have the same issues than me. I will continue to support your shops :-)
