How do you organize your craft space?

We recently moved, and I now have half of the office as a craft space! All of my stuff has been previously stored in boxes that had to be hauled out. So I would really love for this space to be highly organized and functional. Any great ideas or tips?

pinterest has great ideas that i'm trying to incorporate, the yarn monster has been taking over my room and i am slowly taming it!

Organize? What's that?

My stuff is taking over the living room. It's bad.

I craft with yarn. I LOVE the the wide plastic drawers you can buy at Walmart or Shopko. I can organize all my colors. I like the skinnier ones for scrap yarn, ribbon and (soon I hope!) fabric. I also love the little boxes Staples sells. They're plastic and the lids snap on so I can put buttons and such in them.

Something I do when you don't have alot of floor space it put shelves up, then organize your things in clear storage containers so they are up off the floor, you can see into them and know what you are looking for without it taking up space like I said on the floor or on your workspace.
