We're Having a Linky Party

Have you ever taken part in a linky party (also called a blog hop)? I have and they are not only great fun but great exposure as well. So, a link party is a place (on a blog) to link up your shop items and blog posts. Once you've linked up your projects, you visit others who have done the same, favorite an item or comment on a blog post, and even become a follower. This can mean more followers and more exposure. Most bloggers have rules for their link parties and we are no different, so here are the rules:

1. Feel free to link up no more than one upcycled tutorial that you created and one upcycled item from your shop each week.

2. Follow Love 2 Upcycle by email or Google connect. If you're reading this then you are likely already following, but just in case.... http://love2upcycle.blogspot.com/

3. This is a party so socialize! Visit at least one shared link (blog or Etsy shop) and leave a meaningful comment or "favorite" it if it is an Etsy shop item. It would be nice if you followed them as well, but it is not required.

4. Please keep it family friendly and upcycled! We reserve the right to remove any links that aren't appropriate.

And that's it, not too painful right? I hope you'll join us THIS (3/25/13) Monday, and every Monday thereafter, to brag your upcycled creations. Who knows you might even get a feature spot on the blog!

This sounds really fun! I don't have an actual blog, but I've been using a Facebook page to post recycling factoids, ideas and tutorials. Would it work to link to that?

Dawn -you don't have to have a blog to join the party, you can still link up an upcycled (in your case vintage) shop item. So be sure to swing by in the am.

Gemini, I'm pretty sure that you can't link to a specific post on your FB timeline. But, please do post a favorite shop item.

You are more than welcome to share the linky on your blog, it would great exposure for the team. But it is not required. If you do add that code, you'll see the list on your blog grow every time a post/shop item is linked up.
