I'm glad that I joined this team.
I like to recycle glass decoration items by decoupage and hand-painted.
I saved a lot of jars and bottles that do not end up in the trash.

Born and raised in a small town in Northern California, Hydesville, I learned to hand quilt at age 5 by my great grandmother or who I called, "Granny." When Granny passed at the young age of 103, my mother inherited most of Granny's scraps, and in time they have been passed on down to me.

There was 28 apple boxes full of fabric scraps! What in the world was I going to do with all those boxes? I sat down one day and opened a box and said, "I remember you wearing an apron out of this, Granny." I picked up another piece of fabric, and said, " you had a dress made out of this." It was as if Granny was patting me on my shoulder and encouraging me to dig a bit deeper into all those boxes. And that I did!

Low and behold in 2011 I started LOVE PAPER SCISSORS. It has been a lot of hard work, but fun too!

Fast forward to 2014.... I became a seller on Etsy in November, and had my first sale December 31! I was quite pleased with myself, and I know Granny would be proud of me using all those scraps! Each 5" x 7" greeting card is designed by me, some days it will take me hours to design one and others I have an idea that I just start cutting away!

I hope you will enjoy the handmade craftsmanship of these fabric greeting cards as I do, knowing that it took a lot of LOVE and a lot of PAPER and sharp SCISSORS to make these one of a kind greeting cards. Remember no two cards are alike!!

Hi Everyone. I'm Lora and I live in Missouri. I love anything upcycled, recycled and vintage. My shop is currently empty as I am just coming back after being gone awhile. I've tried to stay on top of things but have failed miserably. So much is new and changed. I am taking it one step at a time (my old brain isn't as quick as it used to be :) I feel like I am starting completely over. Which is ok. I was glad to find this team and look forward to participating
