Help with Pricing Upcycled Clutches

I'm in need of some opinions. I've just launched my line of Vintage Redesigned clutches. They're made of vintage military Garrision hats, patterned tie silk, heavy brass chain, brass YKK zippers, leather, the works. I'm ALL about quality and style, and needless to say, they're not inexpensive to make (even before factoring any sort of labor cost on my part). However, I'm afraid of scaring buyers away (especially since these are new/i'm not established anywhere besides Etsy at the moment).

Does anyone have any tips / thoughts / pricing strategies? (also thinking down the road with wholesale orders and don't want to price too low) Bottom line, would you pay $75 for a special item like this? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Personally, I think they are priced well (although secretly I wish they were less so I could justify buying one hehe). They are so unique and beautiful, photography is great, love the label and lining... just great all around.

As far as pricing strategy I can't help you there... just thought I'd share my words of affirmation.

I guess I second guess as I just see a lot of clutches on Etsy priced really low. However, most are not upcycled or have the hardware/trim these do (so pricey!).

I'm also thinking about adding the option of a vintage brass military button added to the top left corner of the bags to make them pop a bit more. We shall see! All trial and error I guess!

The button option sounds like it might be a really cool addition! Either way... I think you have a fab product and hopefully people will realize the amount of care you put into it and be willing to pay for that!
