Just want to share a free software I found. It's called TweetEye and it helps to automate promoting your shop to Twitter. I've been finding that my promos slack when I'm busy, so this is helpful. Read the guide that goes with it, for sure, otherwise it won't be clear how to use it. I got it wrong at first and had to start over.
What I like:
1. Use the tweet my website link to add specific urls to your etsy products. It also has a hashtag recommendation tool that can help you select the right hashtag to target.
2. Select the time you want tweets to start and how often to recur and it will go on forever based on your schedule until it is sold or you stop it. Nice for down times.
3. Back up your schedule in case something happens.
4. You can easily go into your schedule periodically to update the text and hashtags.
What I don't like:
1. It's software you put on your computer so it has to be open and on to run your tweets. (though that's also an upside if you need to stop your tweets for a few days.
2. You have to bring in the link to each item in order for it to post properly.
