Well, we're off to a good start - first sale in our new shop and sold the biggest piece of artwork online from our other shop :)

Speaking of which, did you see our posts in the last thread mask ?

That deamon thing- I will admit that thing is freaky! I wouldn't want it near me anytime soon. I will admit I'm trying to figure out how to make a 'puppet' thing that could be built on a wall that would have multiple usable arms for a haunt... that would seriously mess with anyone who had a fear of spiders.

Your soft sculptures look great- they're this great combo of cute and creepy. But then I may not know too much, often I think creepy things are adorable, and things like hello kitty as creepy. (she is though, really. Its the small beady eyes, they're dead and they stare- if not into your soul, into the pocket books of many.)

Congrats on the sale!! I hope its just one of many for the new year!

Yeah, we've kind of got used to Stephen now but he still wierds me out when I'm working on him....

I have the cute/creepy thing too, wonder if it's a common problem among mask makers :)

Who knows, it could be. But other than online I don't know many other mask makers to say if that's so or not. Japan is going to mess with me somethin' fierce because its the homeland of hello kitty... and she seems to have so many minions there. I'm doomed. ;)

you almost need to do something that has a whole bunch of ballet dancers feet, I know feet wig out a lot of people and ballet dancers have some of the grossest feet I know of. But then I'm a fan of pushing the envelope.

Hey there! Things have been a little slow here- but most of us don't bite... or are at least cutting back! How ever did you end up with that unique name for your shop? There just has to be a story behind that.

We have some good news- after several false starts we've finally moving to a new flat in Whitby two weeks on Friday ! So excited, we've already packed up most of our current place lol. It's only a few miles up the road so a nice easy move. Just trying to get as many jobs done as possible so we can take a little time out when we land.

Hi guys, thought I'd revive this one as the year comes to a close, catching up with teammates - how is everyone doing ?

We're loving our new home in Whitby, business is going really well - currently working on an epic wedding order for 72 masks lol.

We're looking forward to a couple of days off next week, just having a quiet Christmas the two of us. Anyone else got plans ? Geared up for 2015 or haven't dared think about it yet ? :)
