Introductions

Welcome to the team. Feel free to start your own threads if you feel something is missing.

With that said let's all introduce ourselves! Please write a little about yourself, your goals and post ONE of your favorite items from your shop.

I'll go first:

My name is Michelle. I run a vintage shop called MichellesAntiquities. I've had some ups and downs so far but I'm really enjoying it here on Etsy. I am married with three chihuahuas: Gizmo, Trinket, and Mocha. My goal in this team is to provide a nice place where people can get advice, promote and feel like part of a team. My goal on Etsy is to generate income so I can support my family.

Re: Introductions

Hi, my name is Rosemarie of RosieMeadow Designs. Creating and crafting jewelry is relaxing and fulfilling to me. I live a little bit of a hectic life. I share my home with my husband and 5 cats, oh, there were many more, 13 at one time, can you say "Crazy Cat Lady" :) We have 2 grown children and 6 Grandchildren and I have always been "Mom-Mom the full time babysitter" to my daughter's 3 boys.....now you know why my life is so hectic!
I like to think of my designs as "simplistic", basic classic styles of jewelry that can be worn everyday, or on special occasions. Here is my shop if you would like to stop by. www.etsy.com/RosieMeadowDesigns Happy sales to all!

Re: Introductions

Hi, my name is Melissa. I live in FL but am a native upstate New York girl. I am married, with two children, two dogs and a rabbit. I am a part time nurse, and I homeschool my two children which is my main profession. I am very blessed to be able to stay home with them. I have been selling my crafts for so many years, I can't even remember. Etsy, Ebay and Ecrater are my selling venues. I don't do fairs or shows, only once, but love online selling. I make jewelry, collect gemstones, am new to painting and I love to crochet. Creating stuff is relaxing for me. Someday, when I retire, and my kids are grown, I hope my Etsy shop will be able to sustain my needs. Picking a favorite item is always hard, lol, but I like this one a lot.

Hi, my name is Sue and I am currently selling vintage books. In the future I plan to branch out into all kinds of vintage, but I decided to specialize at first and learn as much as I can. Thank you for inviting me to join this team. I really enjoy hearing everyone's stories. I had a hard time choosing my favorite item because I really love books, but I think this one is special:

Hi I'm Cyndee. I live in snowy Michigan and am an empty nest mother of three grown boys. I opened my shop last year after finding I had lots of time on my hands. I recently found my new passion which is painting glass items. I find it so relaxing. I recently revamped my shop and added many new pieces. Please stop by and take a look at my stuff.

Re: Introductions

Hi all, I'm Sarah from Oberlin, Ohio (west side of Cleveland). I have 3 children 7 and under, a full time job, am a third party seller n Amazon (doing quite well there), and have a crafting bug. I figured an Etsy store would be a nice way to focus and maybe move some of some of my crafting out the door while supporting my habit at the same time. https://www.etsy.com/listing/179209209/crunchy-unicorn-skin-stick-lotion-bar-2?

Re: Introductions

Hi Shila! If you want to post an item in a thread so it opens with a picture like mine did above, go into your etsy shop and open your listing so you're seeing it from a customer view. Then copy the URL and paste it into the box where you type to post. I always put it at the end (not sure if it matters), and if you post more then one item, separate each URL on it's own line with an extra line in between and then multiple pictures will show up. You may have seen some threads with posts like that already. HTH!
