Hi Gemma do you think maybe your items are underpriced? I've read a lot on forums about this. You have lovely items.

Re: Join up if you're in the UK - Friendly Support and Advice for New Etsy Shops

I find pricing difficult, if something is reasonably priced but doesn't sell I dont think higher pricing would help, but it would be helpful to get more opinions on this subject.
I get a lot of views from a group called Craft craft and more craft.

Re: Join up if you're in the UK - Friendly Support and Advice for New Etsy Shops

Hi Sandra I'm also finding pricing difficult as I'm now making this my full time job. I think perceived value has a lot to do with it. If someone is looking for a gift to buy someone it's probably going to be more than £5 I know some jewellers have given formulas for pricing work but if I followed their formula my prices would be way too high on most items so I know what you mean. I did find this link which may be helpful to you.http://www.auntiesbeads.com/jewelry-pricing-calculator.html

Thanks for the link Kim I will have a look. Thats a good point about people wanting to pay more for gifts, I started with some more expensive items 3 of which sold. They might have been bought for occasions, birthdays etc I was hoping to sell cheaper items for everyday wear.

Re: Join up if you're in the UK - Friendly Support and Advice for New Etsy Shops

Hi All
I started my shop a few months ago and am really struggling to get views. I average around 1 every couple of days. I keep tweaking my tags and titles to no avail. Do I need to add more items, should I offer postage outside the UK? I would love some feedback as to what I might be doing wrong please.

Jan rose adams, you may like check your products are categorised correctly and that the appropriate occasions from the product occasions list has been selected for each product. You could check your pictures are of good quality also that you have the max 13 tags per product so search engines can find the products. Also you could pay for Etsy's own promotion service.

Hi I opened my shop a couple of months ago. I haven't had any sales and am also struggling to get regular views. Would appreciate your opinions on whether I need more products in the shop or if it's ok to have just a few. Www.etsy.com/uk/shop/purpleflowercraft

Re: Join up if you're in the UK - Friendly Support and Advice for New Etsy Shops

Hello everyone! I have recently opened my Etsy shop selling handmade crochet necklaces. I have no sales yet and I would really appreciate some support and advice on how to improve my shop and attract more customers. Also, I’ve been wondering whether the prices are ok or they need adjusting one way or the other. And in your opinion, is it better to include the shipping in the main price or keep it separate?

Hi all. I have a query. A customer bought something 2 months ago and now she realises that it was a wrong colour for her wedding dress and wants to return. What do I do. Please help. Thanxx.
