Here's how it works: every MONDAY and FRIDAY, we pick 1 shop to be spotlighted in treasuries for the following several days.
Team members who want to play make a treasury including the spotlight shop and tag it with the team tag (treland). The next spotlight shop will be chosen *at random* from the people who made treasuries during the previous round. For example, if we spotlight my shop on Monday, then the spotlight shop for Friday will be selected at random from all of the people who made a spotlight treasury for my shop between Monday and Friday morning.
**Treasury Island members who don't have a shop are welcome to participate! Anyone without a shop, just post the link to a shop you love. If you are randomly selected as the winner, we will use that shop as the next spotlight shop. (You can change the shop or not, but you must include a shop link along with the link to your Treasury when you play).**
REMEMBER - To be considered for the next spotlight, you must participate in spotlight attack for the current round (Monday - Thursday or Friday - Sunday) by:
1. Making a treasury featuring the spotlight shop
2. Tagging the treasury “treland”, AND
3. Posting a link to your spotlight treasury in the thread for the current round.
(4. IF you don't have your own shop, post the link to a shop you'd like to have featured if you are selected for the next spotlight round!)
OTHER PROCEDURES:
1. The next spotlight shop will be picked AT RANDOM (out of the hat, a roll of the dice, by random number generator, etc.) from those who participated in the previous round.
2. No single person/shop will be featured twice in one week.
3. Whoever posts the spotlight is eligible to be selected (as long as they participated in the previous round and haven't been spotlighted in the last week).
4. Spotlight is all about 'paying it forward' and 'good karma' and 'helping fellow teammates'!
