Hi Kristy. Don't get discouraged. Your site is in the beginning phase of sales. Here are a few things I learned over the last couple of years. First-- if you want the powers that be at ETSY to acknowledge your site and put you into their promotionals like front page; you need to adjust your photos. They prefer all white backgrounds because it gives a cleaner, more organized look. And projects the kind of image they are trying to uphold.
Next, I would check around ETSY and see who else is selling similar stuff. make sure yours stands out in the crowd. Check their pricing. Yours seems reasonable to me, but I don't make jewelry like yours and I am not sure what the time and money issues are for your craft. Also, when you are in other people's shops make sure you check how long they have been selling on Etsy, how many sales they have done in that time, and what types of things they have sold. You might find that you just need a little tweak here and there to compete. Go into the competitions circles and favorites check out who they are working with; maybe there are people there for you too.
One thing that I do; but some others frown against, is favorite people selling items similar to mine. I seek out other people selling similar items for several reasons-- they may be on Teams that I had not found where I can promote my stuff too; they might be folks who own shops in their town and are looking for bargains; they might just have some helpful tips about how I am displaying my items. But for me, these people are helpful. You need to decide if you want to work with your competition or completely against them. Like I said, some people aren't so friendly in this area.
There are lots of Teams that will do critiques of your shop. If after you have done your own critiquing and you still think you need help, have some strangers help you out. That's why we are here!
