I know what you mean. Almost none of my friends shop at thrift stores. They all want to go to the mall and then spend like $30-$60 on ONE pair of pants. >.<

I love when someone asks where I bought something and I can say at the thrift store for .99 :) I like not having the exact same things as everyone else too.

hi i'm a newbie to this team and in the UK we don't call them thrift stores, we call them second hand/ vintage or charity shops - so thrift has such a snazzy and exotic ring to it for me - i'm going to start using it! you can't beat the bargain bin, a pair of turquoise silk harem pants for 10p (i don't know how much that translates too in cents but it sure aint much!) vive la thrift!

I love it! I've been digging up more and more thrift shops in the surrounding area to visit-I live in San Marcos which is near Austin and San Antonio and have been dying for some free time to spend a day thrifting away. :]
