Has anyone seen the new Three Musketeers movie? I didn't have much hope for it given that all the previous film incarnations of the classic have been terrible, and the fact that the director Paul Anderson usually makes bad movies, but this one blew my mind away! It doesn't take itself too seriously, and it is fun, campy, exciting, entertaining, and visually stunning. As long as you go in to it not expecting it to follow the book (and how could you when you have seen the airship-filled trailers) then you might just have a great time.

I saw Three Musketeers a few weeks ago. If you can suspend disbelief and accept their version of physics, the movie is rather awesome. :)

Just curious, how many of you guys are doing craft fairs and in-person stuff? How often do you have events? Is it working for you?

I did a few locally last year, but discovered that the local market isn't quite "right" for my stuff. I've been eyeing a table at Dorian's Parlor in Philly for a few months now, as an actual Steampunk Soiree will be full of my target audience.

Oi. Working hard on a Access Database for our team. Somewhere I can keep track of team points people have earned, when they joined, and if they've done the required treasury. Etsy's format makes this very difficult. Little things like if someone doesn't put their city threw the whole spreadsheet off. I'm through the thick of it though. Also, we're in the process of judging the roleplay treasury contest, which I have to say was a smashing success.

i saw the new movie, and while it can't nearly touch the 2 movie cycle from the 70's, it was super fun. it wasn't the three musketeers (it was some weird steampunk fusion) but it was fun, i agree!
