Yet another stupid billing question...

Does anyone know if your shop is open if you get a bill for the amount due on the 1st that you can pay with credit card?  I got a bill last month, but my shop was on vacation as I was out of town for my Mom's birthday.  I'm planning on going away again for my bro's birthday, but after the fiasco last month (having half my inventory not come back up and having to manually reload items), I was thinking of just staying open and extending my processing time, but I have no idea if I'll be billed or not.

I think you will get a bill on the first which is due by the 15th.  I am assuming you are not on auto-pay.  At least that's the way it used to be.  Since they started deducting our fees from our income right away, my shop, which is not on auto-pay, just says my bill on the first of the month is zero because my revenue covered my fees.

Thanks, I didn't know as I haven't been open at the start of the month since the new billing started what with holidays and birthdays and weather.  I may just stay open then and extend my processing time, I don't want to run the risk of losing hundreds of items again, what a huge waste of time that was.

You get an email on the 1st if you have an outstanding balance from the previous month. You will then see a Pay Now or Make a Payment button on your payment page at top left and can pay that balance by CC or Paypal. You cannot pay more than the balance due for the previous month, and you will still have until the 15th to pay (or for your subsequent sale(s) to cover the outstanding balance).
