My recent milestones are:
I woke up to 2 sales this morning, which is a first for me.
I had a package returned to me for insufficient postage, which scared me hugely for basically an entire weekend.
I made my first large purchase to help me with my shop!
How about you guys? I'd love to hear what you're all achieving.
Congratulations on your sales, DachsundDazzle!
May you continue to make many more dazzling sales!
My biggest highlight for January includes joining a local art club, trying my hand at graphite pencil drawing while at my first meeting, and being complimented by three veteran artists on my second attempt to sketch as an adult.
Also sold one of my favorite winter prints, Welcome to Narnia.
Honestly, the month has been a little slower than I would have liked due to real world events beyond Etsy, but basically I'm pretty happy.
Happy Sales to You!
:)
How nice! I'm so happy to hear that your art club is so supportive!
I opened a Pattern shop earlier this month which was a total waste of time, as nobody goes there. I'll be closing it before the $ is due, so at least it didn't cost anything except my time to set up. It's too bad, really, as it's prettier than my Etsy shop, but pretty doesn't pay bills.
Best wishes,
It's funny that you mentioned Pattern because I was just in the Seller's Handbook looking it up. I wouldn't have considered it when it started because it was simply a skin, but now (as of 2017) it appears that you can blog and change listing titles and descriptions in your Pattern shop. This is a definite improvement to how it was first introduced.
Do you utilize the blog feature, Big Dog? Do you use social media?
I understand that you have to drive your own traffic, and that it can take time to seed into Google's search, but as long as Etsy is not hijacking the links and directing listing clicks into their Marketplace it may be worth the effort.
No, I don't blog or do social media, as I work f/t and I don't have the time or the interest to be perfectly honest. I mentioned it in all my listings and in my shop announcement and I thought some of my Etsy shop traffic would check it out, but I was wrong about this.
It's a minor disappointment but no big deal, I'll get over it.
Best wishes,
Hey, think of it this way: You realized it was a waste of time early enough to not waste any money, and that IS a great thing!
I made a number of new pairs of earrings in preparation for a local market... also continued some progress with some new bracelets I'd wanted to have ready.
In terms of Etsy, I did recently surpass a milestone of 400 sales... that was my goal for 2018 and I did achieve it. It's been pretty slow since then, which is a bit unusual for my store, but I'm focusing on other venues (mostly local) to help counteract that...
Congradulations on 400 sales!! And good for you for diversifying where/how you sell your items!
200 listings and also 100 sales :)
Congratulations! (:
Wow! That's awesome!! 200 listings is a lot. How do you stay organized?? haha
Still 3 away from 100th, didn't make it before end of last year, not gonna make it beginning of the new year it looks like = |
Gotta stay positive. Did you have fun with those 97 sales? Have you learned a lot? And most importantly, if you keep growing and adapting your next 100 sales will happen much faster!
Wow! I got 3 orders today, which is a record for me. I'm really excited, but I hope I'm able to keep up with Etsy, work, and school.
Milestone- I hit 100 sales last month
I made a record number of sales (revenue) last month
I made record revenue this month through all sides of my business (off and on Etsy)
I'm 1 sale from a non-milestone (110 sales)
I reached 410 sales today, which has felt pretty wonderful after a long sales lull.
I reached 500 sales last week.
Happy dance.
My other shop hit 400 sales last night ... wooo-hooo!
Which reminds me, that "other shop" should really join this group ๐๐๐คฃ
@MixieAndMoxie Congratulations!!
Almost reached my next sales milestone. I'm one sale away from 700. "Come on #700"! :)
