Rainbows and unicorns?

I really loved the Rainbows and unicorns thread on the old forum! I was looking forward to find it on the new forums as well, but it's gone, together with everything else! 

Since negativity was forbidden on the thread, I'm going to stop complaining and just write that January brought me 3 sales so far, which doubled the number of my sales! (I opened a shop in October.) Who knew you could sell Christmas ornaments after Christmas? ;)

What great things do you have to share? 

Remember, no complaining and negativity! ;)

That's encouraging! Maybe I'll be seeing them in my area soon as well. We've already spotted some Spring birds; a number of them tend to congregate in our yard as they've actively flocking. Between that and the longer days, it's already encouraging and promises an end in sight to this Winter... even though we are anticipating 30cm snow tomorrow. :(

ok, i blundered into this thread... rainbow. i got my vintage item today after the post office stopped holding it hostage in san francisco delaying it. it is great, clean, and i love it. unicorn. i'm on a pc. would somebody scroll waaaaay up to the top and grab me a copy of the supposed image for women's day, please? i click and i get a three armed sweater only. thanks.

Good things about today:

1) I just purchased a new item for my shop that I'm crazy about, (hopefully I'll be able to list it without wanting to keep it for myself). :)

2) Got my orders from yesterday out.

3) Orders from yesterday, it's always nice to make sales. :)

I am not a 🌈 & 🦄 person - more like a crazy old cat lady who ran out of coffee and had to make do with prune juice. 😾 However...

• I shipped out a custom order that - for once - I did not have to redo & redo to get right. 😺
• I hit 1,200 sales...and with it the realization that I MADE every one of those items myself, with my own hands, and people bought 'em!  💪
• There is something resembling sunshine outside. 🌞

Yes! Doesn't it just make you happy? We can make things and people BUY them and they mostly love them, too! I'm just thrilled to be in so many babies' nurseries :) Congratulations on an amazing 1200 sales - I hope I live that long!

Yay, so far this week-end I have had three glowing reviews. 😁😁😁

And the sweetner is that they are pushing down a bad review so it is giving me a new confidence in my product offering, which was feeling a bit battered after that one review...  🌈🌞

Oh, and its raining here and that rain is so sweet as it has been drought conditions here and our dams were getting low on water.  ☔☔😁

I just received a few items from a shop I purchased from here on Etsy and she not only signed the receipt with a "Thank-you" she included a little extra for free!  Which I do as well.  It makes people so happy to get that personal touch from us here at Etsy, as opposed to the order I recieved from EBay via Amazon which had nothing in the envelope except the item.  And that is fine too!  It just didn't make me smile as much as the shop from here on Etsy.

And, I have been wracking my brain for the last year about what I could make and sell as a digital download that would be unique enough to make it worth while.  And today as I was researching something else, it suddenly hit me!  Now I need to get in design mode and start making some!  Whoo hoo!

It's the last day of March (US), and my little shop is chugging along happily. Broke 600 sales yesterday and crossed over 150 5-stars reviews. Counting my blessings and doing my happy dance every time the cha-ching rings through. Wishing everyone many happy sales. Rainbows and unicorns all around!

I am on my laptop and I think it is a setting on your computer. I am on a Mac, but I am thinking it will be most likely the same few steps. Go to "System Preference" --> "Keyboard", then make sure the "show keyboard & emoji viewers...." is checked. See if that works for you. 😊 Or... you can always copy and paste from previous posts. 😁 ❤️🌈🦄❤️
