Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

looks like is was a 3. something in flake county. sorry, but we lived there for a little while and called it clearflake. i'm used to larger quakes to be honest, like loma prieta. that was 6.9 and i was in it. hopefully today's quake didn't do any major damage.

Also can't wait til our government is focused on climate again. This is the warmest year on record. It's supposed to be 55 in NYC tomorrow, which is spring weather. Average temp is usually 25-38 degrees here in Jan.

My sister got the stimulas deposit for $600.

600. that was from the bill signed last week that funds the entire government until september. they are now fighting over an additional 2k and leveraging that fight with a filibuster of the veto override of the cancelled bill that pays the military anything. we all get the 600. well, not all. not rich people and not people without green cards, i don't think. but most people will get 600. the 2k likely will come up later in the next congress. 18 days until anything can change.

i am frustrated. i bought, 'white pearl', deco art metallic paint. it's not white it's silver! takes 4 coats just to see it at all! why did they lie? i needed shiny white paint, craft paint, not a mirror. ; (

how can i paint white without white?

Sill have you tried Michaels Craft store? They have 2 whole isles committed to paint. Don't know if you have any Michaels in CA so go online to check them out.
