Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

I was looking on Etsy for fabric yesterday - and at one point, the results included a loaf of bread - LOL!  But I also saw a quilt that was love at first sight!  I had to get it - my birthday is coming up - so now I don't have to worry about what to get myself!  : )

just a crafting question. i bought shadow a swarovski emerald green crystal heart. it is gorgeous. i thought he wanted to just hang it. no. he wants to wear it. i made a temp chain out of... paper clips. he loves it but it needs a thingy to hang from right. seller told me i need a bail. no jokes about bail bonding... anyway, she makes them. but... ok, so i buy one. how on earth do it put it on without jewellery tools? is this something i can do with tweezers or needle nose hardware pliers? i guess i could look it up online but i thought i'd ask here first...

had he told me earlier what he wanted the seller could have attached one for me. sigh.

You really need jewelry tools to do it right.  If you have a bead store in your town with a nice proprietor, he or she would probably put it on for you if you bought the bail at that store.

@BlueSpruceCrafts . thanks. no, all my shopping is done online. we don't have anything here. no jewellery shop, no pet shop, no shoe repair, no computer repair, no book stores, and all the specialty shops like that shut down last decade. comp. repair guy went to jail, rest just went out of business. we have wal-mart and a couple of thrift stores. sigh.

very odd. my last purchase sent an email but the usual bank notice to say there was a debit did not arrive in my inbox. they always show up together, this is the first time one hasn't. i wonder why. i have our bank sent to alert to any attempted charge so i can verify it or not. this is freaky.

Sil, since I have been in my 20s, I have been mistaken for someone well known.  But!  The only caveat with that, is that the person that I have been mistaken for, constantly changes :(

@pigeonplumtree . yes, beverly and i can do that. we have the option to remove spammers and to pin or unpin topics. we need more team leaders but nobody responded when beverly asked for volunteers. she is very busy and so i'm modding this team mostly by myself. it would be nice to have other helpers.
