It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular. It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.
You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.
Thoughts?
aww look at them looking at each other =] Nice setting and colour theme Sill, love the colours on the floor and her floral dress =]
This is so sweet Sill! Thank you for sharing with us.
art, mary, that was a scene from my pirate saga. i had not bought a dollhouse yet so shadow rendered me a room. i drew a fleur de lys in mspaint and shadow corner replicated it to make the plaque and the tablecloth. the tablecloth got printed on paper, the plaque is just rendered. the foods are play-doh and shadow made a few of them with me. tessie is holding a rubber crawfish. little kitty is making pumpkin pie, hollowed out of the pumpkin with a doll spoon. tom the cat is the lego cat. the floor got printed later but in this it is just rendered. missy sugah is wearing a dress from a different doll. tessie, being irish, is in her own. little kitty is a rewigged mc donalds happy meal in customised pjs. title is thanksgiving on the bayou. setting is 1963. this was a fun one.
Sooo cute! And I love that purple-ish floor. I'd like to have that in my house. :-)
gerri, that is a texture shadow made in bryce 5 for a surfboard that got reused and colorshifted to purple. he used it in several renders. it looks pretty on cardstock. i'd like that tile to be real too. :)
I love the details Sill, it's like a little story scene =]
I kinda miss plum plum's singing . . .
has anyone seen pigeon posting lately?
ok, per her profile. she has not posted in 4 weeks. last online a week ago. no clue what is happening with her.
No haven't seen her around for awhile now, I hope she is ok.
I hope she's alright too.
This Microsoft Office app on Windows 10 is driving me crazy, it's supposed to be free to use but it keeps prompting me to activate, everything is greyed out, I can't use it. I've tried going online to use it, it seems working but I still having problem opening the CSV file that I downloaded from Etsy. When I clicked to open, I can only see a row/line, looks like it's the heading but the rest/all columns underneath that row are blank.
I tried to ask for help in the main forum but not getting any help. Can anyone here help please?
This is driving me mad = {
Wish I could help but I'm still on Windows 7. The only thing I can offer is to be sure you're at the top of the page when you look at it online. I've had csv files open at the bottom of the page. I saw a heading and a bunch of blank columns. Then, after a short panic, I scrolled to the top and the info was there. Unfortunately that's all I can come up with. I hope you get it worked out soon.
@GielDesigns Which Excel version do you use? I've tried Excel 97 and also the online version/I think it's 2016.
How do you go about opening the csv file? Do you just tap on "Open"?
I've read about going to "Data" then "From Text" but there is no "From Text" button on the online version?
I just went to check again, when I clicked to open the csv file, the single row/line of text is at the top/row 1.
I don't use Excel. I use the spreadsheet program in Microsoft Works 9. That's an old software package that included a word processor program, a spreadsheet program and a database program. They're all smaller versions of Microsoft's bigger stuff like Word and Excel. I got it back in 2007 and I believe that's the last time they released it. And to open the csv files, I do just click on "open."
@GielDesigns I'm still using Excel 97. I also tried the online version 2010, still can't open csv = {
I see where you got a few suggestions in your other thread but have you had any luck yet? If not, I just looked up "open csv file online free" on google. I tried a couple of the sites and they both worked. One I checked lets you save the info as an Excel file:
http://www.convertcsv.com/csv-viewer-editor.htm
(I tend to turn to google when I run into computer trouble.)
@GielDesigns I do always go on Google to research to help solving problems and have also done so this time, have been working on it.
I think the CSV file that I downloaded was the problem itself, I tried downloading another and this second one that I downloaded I can open. This is after all that time and work I've put in checking out the Excel programme and in the process I've messed up the Microsoft Office that was pre installed on my computer.
I've learnt a lot though, now I've figured out how to use the new version of Excel free too.
Thank you for helping =]
Bad csv file? Sigh... Of course. But as you said, you learned something in the process. Sometimes our lessons just seem to be so long and hard, lol. Happy to hear you got it sorted. :-)
@GielDesigns I'm finding missing data/information on CSV files, some figures are missing and also dates are not necessarily in order.
Personally I haven't run into that -- yet -- but I saw someone mention having that same problem in your forum thread.
@GielDesigns I wish the CSV files had pictures too, like what we see on the screen, I wish they can let us archive them as they are, with the pictures.
Totally agree! That would certainly be helpful. :-)
