Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

ok, now i never log out. but i'm not a seller. so i'm not sure what will happen. if i can't get access here you guys will have to hunt down elizabeth and get her butt here.  and we won't know until then. 

i would only be able to reach any of you by convo via your shops and not psych at all.   please pay attention to this. i've modded this team for years. without me or elizabeth it is a sitting duck or it goes poof.

as i have posted, here is the update. my friend in england, ellie, is in a deep coma after 2 aneurysms and surgery. nothing more the hospital can do. they are moving her to a private clinic. the 7 year old just wants mummy to wake up. ellie is 29. her 30'th birthday is soon. she is not waking up. i am asking everybody to pray. that child is an adopted orphan. she needs her mummy.  please pray. even if you don't believe. please pray. thank you.

Just a little update on Ellie, everyone.
After the visitors left last night, the clinic did notice a few moments of brain activity along the lines of thinking/emotional brain waves, so perhaps some of the sensory stimulation and the visitors are making a connection somewhere.
The consultant can't say what this may mean at this point in time, but it is a tiny glimmer of hope. They will run more tests after visiting is over today.
I hope there will be more positive news to share over the coming days.

ups has been running late. usps no longer even gives you an eta once the package is 2 days late. the late disclaimer vanishes and goes in en route. so usps is only sorry for 24 hours and then it's screw you we're not even estimating when you'll get it.

amazon only has estimates now.

yet etsy actually thinks people will get their items on time! nothing is on time. it's an election year! nojoy is doing all he can to interfere by slowing down all domestic mail, period. mail in ballots are now an anathema to his minions...

I read a thread on the Forum by a seller who was complaining about the difficulty finding genuine, quality gold chains on Etsy. I think the issue is people looking for bargains. You're never going to find a genuine gold chain for cheap. Gold is 2K an ounce now. There are reputable sellers out there. I always look at reviews and ask questions before I purchase.

agreed. ok, psych, it is the evening of march 24. if the interface of teams changes on the 26th we have a little over a day left. if you and i get cut off we won't be able to even read the fora anymore nor post here.  i have some of the regs here in my convos to keep contact with them. be sure you convo one of them too, now. if the fact that we don't have seller accounts will lock us out then there is no more access by tuesday. i have warned of this a while now.

There are a lot of misleading titles and shady looking shops selling from India and Turkey.  Like you said, I would read titles carefully and only buy from sellers with good reviews and many sales in their shop.

I've been wondering what will happen tomorrow too!  It doesn't say that you have to be a shop owner to participate in the teams chat, only that you must be logged in.

ok, march 25. no way to know what happens when e becomes sovietsy tomorrow. i have done all i can since beverley forst drafted me to help here. i have tried to keep on top of the spammers and to make sure something got posted because they said only teams with active posts will remain. so if i don't post tomorrow blame etsy. and go find elizabeth. not much else i can say really. we shall see.

An email from Rosie.
She said that Ellie's eyes started flickering a lot when Honey was talking by her side this morning.
The clinic referred to it as the very, very slightest good sign, but it is too early to say what it may mean.
Still, it gives hope. '
