It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular. It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.
You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.
Thoughts?
i have not been feeling well, thanks. we have kept power though. stretching a chicken soup by tossing bones in every couple of days. i'm ready for winter to leave.
I hope you start feeling well soon. I am sick of winter as well. I'm really feeling the winter blues this week and have zero ambition.

adorable!
psa. alllll mail is late. all. etsy. amazon prime. all. things are backed up in hubs as if it was holiday time! nobody knows why. usps is not even trying to apologize. be sure to extend your dates by at least 2 days. and put it in big letters. all mail is being delayed by bad weather and the latest covid!
Thanks for the PSA. I have noticed people complaining in a FB group about not receiving mail for days. I thought it was just a local problem.
usps is unavailable. houston has a problem. no, not about nasa, they are not getting mail. joyless is updating the post offices, trying to f with the election year obviously, and real people are not getting their bills, meds, wedding dresses...
i want bridezilla in texas to go march into that degenerate's office and put the fear of jesus into him.
he has destroyed mail as we know it. upstate new york is complaining too.
how many states before somebody says enough?
huge storm since midnight.
I hope the storm passed without any damage.
it is still raging.
WOW!
wow is one word for it. massive and monstrous are two others.
i hope psych is ok. she's in greater los angeles...
@vlmkpyae I just read about the storm flooding and came here hoping you would check in. Is there heavy rain in your area too?
Praying psych is safe too.
we are in the lull. we had endless rain then high howling winds. now it's just cold in the 30's. further on down the state is in big trouble. thanks.
@vlmkpyae Such strange weather. We are expecting a high of 48 today in Michigan and you are freezing your toes off. Try to stay warm, dry and safe.
Lost power for over 24 hours: no lights, no heat, no hot water, no oven. Yesterday was a real b*tch. Thought we would lose about a thousand dollar's worth of food, but hubs put the meat/fish in a large cooler and the rest of the stuff managed to fare OK. So nice to take a hot shower. It's STILL raining.
glad you are ok and that you showed up. convo somebody, like one of our regs sellers here, so there is a way to contact you later if needed.
we had no power 8 days last summer and saved quite a bit of the food. that was not winter like now so it was not cold weather.
freeze anything you are worried about.
Thanks for thinking of me guys. We're not out of the woods yet.
@psych62 I'm glad you are safe, I saw that another round of storm are expected later this afternoon. yikes!
Thank goodness you were able to keep the food cold until the power came back on.
We didn't get hit with any rain on Wednesday, but I looked at the 10-day forecast, and it looks like another round of storms is headed our way soon. Haven't heard anything yet about the intensity.
As an aside, there was a small earthquake yesterday, a 4.6. It didn't last long and there was no damage, but the shaking was a little scary.
stay safe, psych. that is a moderate quake and they can be a bit disturbing. i hope the rains all go east. we don't need more yet.
just tossing this out there. i have lilac back, i just want her locket. if anybody spots one, it is the one with purple stones and a blue backing. https://u-mercari-images.mercdn.net/photos/m48127054575_1.jpg?width=3840&quality=75&format=pjpg&auto... i am winding down replacing my kiddles now.
