Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Hi people! 

Glad to hear you're doing O.K. Margaret.

No more bad weather since Monday. Has been beautiful and warm since yesterday.70 degrees in my county. 

We went to the beach yesterday! That's how we roll here. 1 day horrible rain , the next day its resort weather.

Sil hope you're o.k.

Cat is o.k. eating the new kidney diet food without problems ( so far)

So glad kitty is doing better with the food situation. It's hard to get a cat to change its' habits that's for sure.

lost an online friend without warning. she was 30. i've been in shock for hours. and depressed.

she was 30. had ms. had gone blind and used a machine to type for her. she wrote poetry. it was shocking. i'm in the middle of her memorial thread right now.

She sounds like she was not only a remarkable woman but a true fighter for living life to its' fullest. Our world needs more fortitude like hers. What an inspiration Sill. Truly she will be missed in more ways than one. Blessings my friend.

her last poem. her partner would find pics for her to post with her poems. her partner has deleted her poetry site and now only what we saved from our forum remains. her partner thinks she wanted the site deleted. i don't but i'm not in charge.

the etsborg is insane! now 5 minutes after a purchase if you are in the middle of a convo or not you get the huge banner about request help instead of talking to your seller! it is getting to where it is going to be imperative to use real emails to avoid this. i understand once you are tagged this way you are judged on your response time and have to have the last word. and it doesn't matter if the purchase was 5 minutes or 5 months ago! these evil busybodies are in your face and i suspect it is going to get much worse. please post about this on the fora. i can't! the evil ones won't let buyers be there to tell the truth! i am hating this site...

I am interested in learning your thoughts about the importance of the about section for sellers and buyers. In my view, storytelling allows to connect the craft items to the maker's lifestyle and infuse any object with a special symbolic meaning that better communicates its value. What is your take on that, based on your experience?

The power of storytelling in communicating the value of craft items and supporting creative people to share their uniqueness is at the heart of my academic research ( I tried to reconcile my passion for crafting with my Academic daily job). I want to understand better what other sellers think, and I am trying to collect as many voices as possible.
