Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Anyone buy any holiday gifts here on Etsy? For my husband's stocking-stuffer. I purchased some honey caramels from a company in Utah that  makes their own honey (well, their bees do). I plan to take them out of the box and put them in the stocking. I know he'll love them, he's a big caramel/toffee hound.

I bought some herbal pain balm for my brother.

I use it myself and thought he might  like it as well.

That's the only present i'm buying this year for Christmas  but I do buy here for birthday presents .

And of course (! ) I buy myself stuff like handmade incense and soaps.

Yes, a few! Hubs is getting some amazing new wooden spoons and some block printed napkins (he's all about food/the table). He's gifting me 2 handmade mugs and some mannequin hands that have been in my cart for months.

I buy birthday gifts on here too. I purchased my brother's 60th birthday gift here (cookies) and my Dad's 86th birthday (more cookies). Can you tell I like giving cookies as gifts? LOL.

Am going to start watching the new one on N called " The Prom" cause i heard a good review.

You have gotta see 'Sister Act' and 'Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit'.  'Sister Act 3' is in the works right now. Whoopi Goldberg just cracks me up! I bet I have seen these in reruns on TV a couple hundred times (at least).

Did you know there is a remake of " The Stand" coming out on CBS all access channel. Dec. 17th ?

Absolutely a Stephen King fan! Can't remember the last time I saw one of his movies. Goodness knows I've read all his books! Thanks for the heads up on the remake of 'The Stand'. And Whoopie in a Stephen King movie...Wow!

'Family and Farm News.... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to those whom have sent cards and packages to Mia!!! The pile is gigantic and Mia is very excited for her birthday on THURSDAY!!   We're trying to make it a big deal since so many things have been taken away from Covid - no parties at school and no treat even!  We are taking her to the Lights of Christmas drive through at Warm Beach at 5:00pm, then picking up Chinese Food (her fav) and having a party at home that night!  We're all very excited and Abe is sure some of the presents MUST be for him, but it will be a good lesson for him to think about others!  He's in the ME TOO phase....and everything is "ME TOO"!!  Life is pretty boring right now, so it's fun for us to think about Mia's birthday and having a celebration!   

Hope you have something to celebrate this week, too! '
