Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Thoughts?

mary, i was going to tell you how adorable your new logo is. it's sew you. my friends have been enjoying seeing the pics of your newest things. it's thanksgiving in canada this weekend and my two canadian friends thought those table runners were beautiful, as did my co mods in england and australia who don't have thanksgiving, lol. very nice.

One thing I do dislike about the ultra modern telephones, is to search in the printed manual for the instruction about how to do a single and simple telephone call.  emoji scream

The nice people at verizon store told me i could watch the tutorials on you tube to get more stuff set up. ( they helped me activate and showed me a few things but i didn't want to take up too much of their time)

Thing is, dang, who has time to watch all those tutorials??

I'm in contact now with a high school kid who helped me once before with computer stuff. He said he could help me with phone too and he doesn't charge $70 an hour!!

All of this new technology is baffling to me.  With the Covid still traveling around, it is almost impossible to get the Geek Squad to come and help.

Computer tech services can help you remotely.

I'm in touch with a guy whose gonna help me with my computer problems that way.

I like it better that way cause my place is a mess with all the inventory i have stacked everywhere.

This way no one sees it!

it's funny- I don't talk on my cell phone- everyone knows to cll me on the landline. Big and clunky, can tuck on the shoulder with both hands busy. The cell phone isn't a phone for me- it's my camera, photo correction device, Etsy shop manager... everything but a phone strangely!

Has anybody else noticed people leaving packages on, under or next to the blue USPS drop boxes?  I drive by a blue drop box every morning on my way to work.  It is located on the main street of my town and nearly every day there are packages (too big to fit through the slot) on or around the drop box.  I leave my house shortly after 5am and the pick up time for that drop box is 1pm, so people are leaving packages outside on good faith for more than 8 hours.  That is just plain crazy.
