Nothing in Particular Thread

It seems like there should be a single thread where team members could just gather and catch up with eachother about nothing in particular.  It's nice to have other threads to discuss a particular topic, but would also be nice to have a thread where you could go to see who's around at that moment.

You know, like a never-ending, continuously running thread.

Thoughts?

once pigeon starts a bird thread i will relocate the bird posts on this thread to it. i saw in the pulldown that there is the option to move posts. :)

go to the main page for the team and just begin a thread. anybody here can make a thread.

under team discussions it says start a discussion. start one on birds. like, 'this thread is for the birds', or something like that. ;)

Chapeaunoir- Scary!

I've had close  encounters with geese and learn to give them a very, very wide berth.

@Lionfish. When you get too close they at least give you a heads up...they hiss! That's gotta be unique for birds.

They hiss and they have tongues.  They look like human tongues....

Most I don't mess with!  But some of these geese are just all front.  My friend had four white geese in his yard - I'd be over there and as I approached their yard they'd rush towards me honking and hissing and flapping their wings. I'd let myself myself in and start walking towards them. They'd slow down and look a little shifty, like "Um...human is supposed to run away because we're big and bad." (They weren't, they were the smaller geese). I'd keep walking towards them and the wings would go down and they stand in a cluster, then turn and start way, looking back at me making very small ruffled noises. I'd start running and they'd start hopping and sprinting like "BLAAAAHHHH! Human chasing! Human chasing! Run away!"  I'd stop  and they'd come marching back honking triumphantly and flapping their wings like they chased me away.

Okay, so speaking of geese and birds in general....

I was watching a recent episode of "Nature" on PBS and I saw for the first time in my life.. an ostrich doodle.

DO NOT POST A PIC!  I REPEAT:  DO NOT POST ANY PICS OF THE OSTRICH DOODLE!

You will be grossed.  But look it up to see what it looks like.  You'll be shocked.

@pigeonplumtree . no, i didn't. and i cannot reply to nor send any convos, still. i'm really upset. there are a couple of threads on it on bugs. i made a thread here. i can't answer your convo at all. i tried just now. this glitch may be what makes me quit etsy once my purchases are received.

@pigeonplumtree . threads on team go by how often people post on them. there is not enough activity that a new thread will get buried past the first page or so. just make the thread and people will post. yes, here, on team. you can't post chat subjects on the fora, only in teams.

anybody else every buy several things from one shop but accidentally put the wrong item instead of one you wanted and didn't notice checking out? i just did that. i told the seller, asking if he can swap. he asked me which to delete but didn't say he'd add the right one in its place. both cost the same. can he just swap?

I swap for my customers all the time.  They often order ivory pillows when they really want white.  I just make another one in the color they want then save the first for a future sale. No bigee.

@GielDesigns . he removed the wrong one and sent the refund, but didn't swap. so i bought the right one, asking him to combine, and no response yet. my frustration was a second order charged shipping again and he combines shipping. sigh. these were ooak turritella agates. to make a new one might take a million years. ;) they are, 'vintage'. ;)
