Helpful Tips for Doing Taxes

I discovered a voice activated calculator app called "Newton" which has made adding up expenses easier. Rather than having to look down at the page, and then enter each number into the calculator, I just speak the numbers into my phone, hit = and it adds everything up. There's a bit of a learning curve so if anyone uses it, let me know and I'll share the snafus I had when I first started using it. 

Have you come across anything that's made doing taxes easier for you? If so, please share.

Hey @Lionfishvintage I'm glad to help. Taxes are usually so stressful. Mine are especially so this year. If you do download the app, a couple of tips are that you have to say "dot" if there are any cents in the amount ($12.13 for example) and "plus" between numbers when adding etc. I seem to remember you being in the U.K but you get the point.

For the longest time I kept thinking another seller was in England as well. I don't know why!! 

I think it's a compliment as I love the U.K.

I love the UK, too.  It's so much cooler than here and IMHO the people were friendlier, too.  Plus I just love the British accents, there are so many of them and they all sound so clever. :)
