It doesn't surprise me it was closed though, they don't want any criticism of Etsy on the new forums.  So much for fun...

This is just sad. Perhaps the forums are being shown at board meetings with investers. Would explain the no exception rule to "mocking" aka sarcasm.

I thought I saw some off-topic & no longer encouraged comments, but then I looked at the dates and realized I was reading a post from 2016. So some old stuff really is in there with the new, and apparently if no one has anything current to say, those are the top posts.
