Can't reply

Hi everyone! I just joined, but I'm having a glitch where I can start threads, but cannot reply to them at all. It's really irritating to say the least, but I hope it will be fixed soon, so I can participate normally.

I'm having that problem, too, on and off.  Maybe it's because the forums are so busy with everyone coming back after the hiatus.

I changed from firefox to IE and it's working now. But yea I'm sure it's just busy and glitches.

The big question ~ why did they take the old forums down?

I'm having this problem in Firefox. It was fine then suddenly stopped letting me reply to anything quite recently. 

I had not changed any settings. Just overnight, I couldn't make a reply  but I could start a thread. 

I updated Firefox. Still happened. I cleared my cache, still happened. I wrote to Etsy help. They took weeks to get back to me, during which time I found that the problem mysteriously went away. 

Then came back again. 

I have to use Chrome to post here. I don't want to use another browser, all my "stuff" is on Firefox.

i had to go to chrome months ago because firefox is not working on much of any site anymore.

you can import your bookmarks to chrome. they show up as imported from firefox. just copy all you ff user/pw list and put that on a text file so you can reimput them on chrome.
