How Do You Handle Injury That Disrupts Your Work?

I've been lucky to not have an injury that interrupts my work flow until now. I broke my fibula on Friday, and I am currently non-weight bearing.  I have to move around a lot to process orders. Luckily, I have been able to find a flow that get the job done, but it takes 3x as long to get everything done. So, I have to keep work when I would normally be able to rest. I'm thankful that I have been able to make my flow work, and I know I'll be back in action in no time.

How or have you had to handle a similar work flow challenge?

Hope you are  getting around easier now. I slipped on ice end of February this year---my chest was badly bruised but the pain in my shoulder lasted for 6 months. Super hard using your 'off' hand for something as simple as brushing your teeth or combing your hair. One thing that came out of this was me realizing I should start downsizing--the big IF--what IF my shoulder didn't get totally better--what then. One always thinks you will always have your health--but life does throw a curve sometime!

I'm  glad you are recovering from your injury. My progress seems to be going well. I have my first checkup apt on Tuesday. I'm hoping this will show improvement. I'm able to get around better, and have my workflow down. I miss my outdoor and running activities.
