Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
My weekend comprised of getting out into my garden. It has been extremely hot here in Australia. You have to be out early morn or late afternoon to do anything. So I have two to three hours morning and afternoon to potter around the plants and then between I do a little sewing.
I placed straw all around plants to keep their roots cool, and pulled the pesky weeds out in the lawn. We have a beautiful weed called a yellow daisy that the old timers in our area planted way back to make the area look pretty. It does look pretty in the empty blocks around but is a real menace in your lawn. Never ending pulling it out.
Well Monday today, back to work. Everyone have a good week and if a gardener like myself happy gardening.
