Calling all the old chatters from chit chat where are you??????

I miss everyone, only see a few sellers from the old forums.

Never wanted to join a team, no offense to anyone in Teams, just not a great social butterfly,

liked to just drop in from time to time in a disscusion ( need spell check LOL) or chat that interested me.

Thank you for letting me join here, maybe more of the old gang will find their way here.

I'm seeing lots of people I never saw before. That's lovely, so that's one plus for the new style. Pity there are so many negative ones.

Still we soldier on, and we don't give up. I love the way so many of us have come together, and keep trying. We may complain, but never without a reason.  Whether you like something or not you always seem to find others on here who feel the same.

The community may have been fractured, but the Etsy sellers/buyers spirit carries on. And that is what keeps sites like this a success.

@Teddyrose54  What is there not to like?  I am seeing a few familiar faces, some are new, but isn't that the true meaning of "community"...coming together for the same reasons and helping each other along....a place to share, laugh, cry, rant, tell the good stories and offer virtual hugs?  This is a good thing.

I'm glad to see you did come back! When you said on the old forums you might not come back to the new forums, I was afraid I wouldn't see anymore adorable pictures of Moses :) (They should have put emoji face icons as an option on the new forums.)

@Teddyrose54  Without any apology.....I always see the glass more than half full in all things and when people are mean, I think, they are having a bad day and I will control the kind of day I have.  I once had someone here tell me not to wish them a great day, because they were fine....guess what?  I am still wishing that everyone finds joy somewhere and something to make their day great....I am alost cause I guess, but I am here.

Well I'm back to work, trying to finish up a scarf to hopefully get listed today, have to finish putting on the fringe, I don't like that part LOL

I was new to old forums.  Mostly a "reader" or lurker as you say.   Was just getting the hang of old forum.  Then the change.   Can't find any info anymore.  So here I am.   You all seem like lovely people.

I have no idea if I'd qualify. I mainly lurked but did post a lot as well- not near as much as a lot of people.

I write (main income) and have been running on some tight deadlines with writing, plus sick, working from home with 2 kids (so basically doing the stay at home and working gigs together, with minimal help since my husband works a lot)

I don't have much time anymore to just chat. I do pop in occasionally.

but 61 is great, I got you beat by a couple years, I'm 65 LOL

Well it's still freezing here and the local shop had a yarn sale. Guess what I'll be doing for most of the day? Any excuse to get out the needles and relax.😀

A yarn sale that's what I need, I just started making neck scarves, don't know if I will sell any.

Hit a sale myself last week on yarn, when I went to get some more. It's very relaxing to crochet, only time I just sit still for a while.

Do you knit or crochet Teddyrose?

Hubs purchased some steak and black bean chili from Whole Foods (we have one within walking distance of us) and are going to consume topped with some 5-year aged cheddar, Saltines on the side. No cooking but tasty.
