Did anyone see the "Eat like Andy" commercial featuring Andy Warhol eating a whopper? I loved it! It brings back memories of my picture person days when the kids were young. I had wonderful conversations with 5th graders about what art is. I put together a Warhol folder when I was chair. Unfortunately, as soon as I was no longer chair someone not only took him off the schedule but destroyed the entire folder including removing the vintage Campbell soup cans that were like what he painted. Oh well! It was fun while it lasted.
Oh, and an order came in during the game! Life is good.
I didn't see that one, so sorry I missed it.
That stinks that somebody tore up your Warhole lesson. I don't get some people.
My son and I had a chance to visit the Warhole museum in Pittsburgh. It was amazing, they had the soup cans, the brillo boxes, a lot of the celebrity silk screens. Such a cool place, I highly recommend it if anyone can get out there to see it.
That museum sounds great!
I saw it, and immediately searched on the web to see if it was a look-alike. I don't remember the old commercials, but I recognized a very young Andy right away. He would have been amused at how meta it was!
I also first thought it might be an actor, but I'm not surprised it was really Warhol.
Am more into Andrew Wyeth than Andy Warhol.
Am more into Andy Warhol than the Superbowl.
it was reported that the ad did not do well because too many viewers do not know who warhol was.
sad.
That is sad!
Unfortunately that doesn't surprise me. I saw it is ranked worst by viewers. It is still my favorite.
