I had a giraffe experience last week - visiting my daughter in Colorado, we went to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, where you can feed lettuce to the giraffes. My heart skipped a beat when I walked into the exhibit - they are just so beautiful, and so close!! I got a bit emotional, and thought about watching April last year. I have a great video on my instagram of my brave daughter and one year old grandson feeding the giraffes! I preferred to keep my distance! LOL!
