We wanted to start a list of great tips and tools for everyone to use to grow their business.

If you have any suggestions or know of a great site, resource, service, tips or ideas that etsy sellers can use please message us using the contact the captain link on the left hand side of the team page, do not post it below or make any posts without approval first. All posts made in this thread will be deleted without exception. This is not a promotions thread or a place for others to market their tools, items or services. Each site or service listed has been checked and double checked for our members safety which is why we do not want anyone posting without our knowledge without the service,site, product being tested first. We will close this thread to outside posts in hopes to avoid any inconvenience and posts made by mistake.

You can display your Etsy listings direct to your fans on your Facebook page. There are many apps out there, some that offer lots of features and some that are far simpler. We like easy, simple and free! For that reason we recommend using this app. Just like the name suggests is very easy to use and even easier to set up. Entering your shop name is all it takes to get started. You also have some options to customize it if you wish but the default settings are great :)

Here is a wonderful site to get likes to your Facebook page forever. I think the site is pretty new so now is the time to get in and be ranked high from the beginning.

It's very simple! All the members can progress and get their own add to the top by liking other pages. If you're a member you will get people liking you all the time as they try and get to the top.

It does cost $5 but for what it is you can't beat it. I have already had a few hundred likes from it all from etsy users as well. By far the best return on investment I have found for an add so I thought I would share. I guess the more people that join the site the better so share it with as many people as you can. We have been sharing this for a few months and the feedback we get is phenomenal with users claiming to have received over a hundred new likes to their page in their first day.

Changing your tags, creating sales for your shop and renewing listings at a specific time are so easy with this app.

We use and love more than anything the etsyonsale app, its wonderful! You can remove and add tags to all listings in one go, and schedule sales.

You may have seen many listings that display what the price used to be in the picture. They are listings that have been placed on sale using the etsyonsale app. If you sign up directly at the site you get 5 free credits to get started or if you sign up using the referral link of an existing user you both get an extra 5 credits, so you start off with 10 instead of 5. Growing a business takes money and a lot of hard work.

Many small businesses (most) don't even come close to the thresholds needed to take out a business loan to grow their business. There is a company offers etsy shop owners and other online sellers potentially lend from $500 - $50,000 dollars to grow their business based on the performance of their etsy shop

If you have an etsy shop you can check them out and see if you qualify to apply for a short term loan to grow your business. I'm sharing this site as I have personally used it to borrow funds to grow my business and without it we would not be one of the top ten selling shops on the Etsy in my opinion. It allowed us to purchase a lot of supplies and also get a great infrastructure set up that we cannot live without now so it has been a blessing for us. I'm sure the thought of a loan is not for everyone but if your shop is doing well and you want to expand this could be an option for you to try out.

Want a custom Facebook link with your business name in it?

You can get a custom domain name for free from Facebook. Go to www.facebook.com/usernames and make sure you select your business page and not your profile page. Once you have made sure you have your business page selected you can write your business name in.

For example here is my facebook link below, before I selected this custom one it was a much longer link that looked messy and had a bunch of numbers and special characters in it. This link is much shorter and more professional.

Get involved in a Pinterest group board.

Group boards on pinterest are a great way to pin your items into communities of people who will almost certainly love your creations as much as you. The other great aspect is that there can be hundreds of people adding content to a board which will make thousands of people view and follow it. Here is a great group board to get started with. Try and create your own as well and invite others to participate.
