Re: Shipping: What are the best options?

I've been using USPS flat rate so far. It seems to be working OK. It's probably not the most economical way to do it, but it makes calculating shipping costs a lot easier.

Re: Shipping: What are the best options?

I would concur! The ease in calculating predetermined shipping costs definitely seems more time efficient. I guess the size and price points for items factor in with the shipping options as well.

I also advise any customers to message me for shipping insurance when it comes to higher priced items (if any) within my store policies section.

Good call, JoAnna!

Re: Shipping: What are the best options?

I have learned that USPS First Class (for small items) is the best way to go. You can add delivery confirm. & insurance and it gets there just as fast. I could not believe the difference in price-even internationally. I go online to usps.com and print my label right there. You save an additional 15% by buying online.
Happy New Year!

Whoa! I go through USPS myself and never knew there was a discount online! Carolyn, you are my hero! Consider this your first good deed of the New Year. :)

Happiest of New Years to you, as well...

Great things to come for the whole LA Collective this 2013!

Re: Shipping: What are the best options?

New here and to Etsy, was glad to see this group and Topic as I have yet to ship anything and was wondering the best way.

What does everyone use for packing supplies and where do you get them for a decent deal in the LA area? I want to try and avoid Styrofoam packing peanuts.

Thanks and hello :)
