This thread is here to feature a new shop, Monday, Wednesday and Friday! It’s a good way for us to learn a bit more about our teammates! What we sell, what inspires us and what keeps us going :D If you are lucky enough to be featured please take a second and let us know your story!

Thank you so much for featuring my shop out of this great group! I use to tell my mom all the time that I wanted to open up my own vintage shop someday and she said well then do it, you are good at everything she would say, but of course any mom tells her children that. At that time I was working full time and did not know about etsy. Well now my mom makes her home in heaven. When she left me she took a chunk of my heart with her. She was my mom and my best friend and we went treasure hunting together. She was the only one patient enough to let me pick through things, and when she tired she would just go sit down and wait for me. Tears are streaming down my face as I write this. That was 6 years ago which seems like yesterday. To help me get through my grief I was scrolling through looking for something did not know what and came upon etsy. I then seen you could open up your own shop and right there I heard my moms voice "you can do anything". She is my inspiration that keeps me going everyday. I dedicated my shop to her my mom "mary". I miss her deeply and don't know that the pain ever goes away, but I know she is with me all day each and every day. When I was young she use to buy antique furniture and refinish it herself and I have so many of her pieces now through out my home. I want my shop to be a pleasure as each and everyone strolls through back in time searching out that special piece that just grabs you. I try to carry a wide variety and my motto is I will not sell anything that I would not use myself and love. Thank each one of you who stops by the shop and hope it takes you back in time as you stroll through each page. Thank you once again to the group for featuring me and god bless each one of you! Deborah, what a wonderful story. I know your mom is proud of you and your Etsy venture! My mom and I go treasure hunting, too; in fact, we're going to an estate auction on Saturday. We have a great time going through the goodies whether we buy anything or not -- not buying something doesn't happen very often.

I really enjoyed looking around your shop and of all the lovely things I favourited, my all time favourite is the musical piano, because as a very small child my Aunt gave me one just like it! It came all the way from Australia so it was very special indeed :)
