Good morning my lovely Etsy family!

How is everyone today? First of all let me say that I am staying on top of all the chats even though I may not have responded to them and want to send out a huge hug to Patricia and all her family you are in my prayers girl! We love you.

Jen and Nuria hope you both find some peace at work today and I hope everyone in the north and midwest stay warm and stay home if you have icy roads.

Yesterday I took my aunt to American Cancer Society and they hooked her up big time with wigs, wig stands, scarfs, hats, pamphlets and beanies. They were so nice and had some really cute wigs too!

Today is her first of 3 radiation treatments. She goes Today Friday and Saturday and then she is off Sun and Mon then we start chemo on Tuesday. I am super excited to get her treatments started so we can get her better sooner. We know this may not cure her permanently but we are hoping for extended life beyond the original 18mo to 2 years that was suggested when she was in the hospital.

Thanks to the lovely Jacqui- the BNR will be held open today at 11am- come over and visit her and shop to support our team!

Tura I am jealous....wigs are so much fun. I've got a nice little collection myself :D I think all women should own at least one nice wig!lol I'm sure her treatment will go well :) Any extra time is good, right?

Ooo has anyone noticed that the pages have gone back down again? Back to the original 24 items? Etsy can't make up their minds.lol.

Tura, sending huge hugs your way. You are such a sweetie. I still havenpt stop thinking about your aunt. I really hope the treatments go well and that she is with you for as long as she can. Keep reminding her how strong she is. ;)

Sorry I haven't been around as much. This student teaching stuff is getting harder. I am teaching four classes now (all the same subject). Days are long, but it has been going well so far. I just have been getting a lot of sleep.

Just got home from our meeting.....it went well...i really have a wonderful team of people...i enjoy my job so much more when i focus on my team and forget about the corporate side of things....

Tura...your Aunt is so lucky to have you! I hope her treatments go well and that things go as well as they can. The human body is capable of miracles.....I am working a 12-8 shift today so i will not get to make the BNR :( happy sales to everyone!

Krys....etsy is hilarious....i have a couple of wigs to....it is just fun to transform every now and then...

Vito i am glad to hear that your classes are going well even if the day is long. i am sure your students love you!

Well, i do not know how many of you remember, but back in December we lost a TM at my store, she was the victim of a hit and run driver.....well....they have arrested a woman...she was so wasted, she does not remember anything is her story....she is currently being held on $30,000 bond and is being charged with failure to stop and render aid...i am so glad they found her...a friend of hers apparently called in the tip....Houston historically does not generally side with cyclists....so i am encouraging everyone at the store to write letters to their congress people, harris county judges, etc. Ugh....drunk driving.....jeez!

Well, i am going to get in bed, hopefully to sleep....up in the morning, get the kid to school then head into work. Good stuff.

Living for Saturday....day off Saturday...

Tura - I hope your aunt is laghing in the face of her doctors and fighting hard. It's always a blessing to have people around longer than expected. That's awesome to hear she got hooked up with a lot of great free stuff.

Krystal - I don't own a single wig. Not even a halloween wig.

Vito - Glad to see you're still peeking in from time to time. It's good to get lots of sleep...I miss it.

Tara - I'm happy to hear somebody came foward with a lead and an arrest was made. That's gotta restore your faith in humanity a tiny bit. I'm working for Sunday, myself. My check will be nice when it comes, but right now I just wanna go back to bed.

Nuria - I hope your heafache goes away quickly. It sounds like soon there will be a little less stress.

Tura- You are incredible. Glad you guys found some great wigs for Aunt yesterday. I hate when Dr,'s give timelines, they are wrong so many times, people do not have expiration dates that they can say when it is ones time. Your Aunt will prove that to them. Wishing your Aunt a speedy recovery.

Krystal- I have noticed, I kind of liked the longer pages, I was more likely to view next page when they only had a few. Oh, well.

Vito-It's nice to see you(so to speak), thank you for taking time out of your super busy schedule. I am glad that student teaching is going well. :)

Tara- I am so glad they found the driver. What a shame one persons bad choice destroys so many lives. I read the article you posted on fb, she may have been drunk, but she knew, she told several people and fixed the damage on her truck. Man makes me mad just thinking about it. Sorry to go on about it, just glad they found her.

I feel like I am running behind. Tim was starting on a job on the Island this morning, so we slept in just a bit. Always puts me behind schedule.

After my workout, I have some pieces to polish and then assemble. After the BNR, I will take pics. I need to start tweaking titles and tags again. I am also going to ask Eva to model for me within the next couple of weeks.. Get some model pics up, hopefully. Lots on my agenda.

Tara - That's AWESOME that they found the woman!! And so much later too....good for her friend for giving the tip. I think the bail should be a little higher...but yknow.lol.

Nuria - Try having a cup of coffee, the caffeine may help your head a bit :) And try not to stress to much today! You aren't doing yourself any favors by worrying so much! Everything will work itself out :)

Peggy - I saw that too! It's nice to hear from Eejee again...it's been a while. I've been poking my nose around trying to see if there is anyone on our team that sells dresses...

Ambur - You should get a wig...they're nice for bad hair days too.lol. I bet you'd look cute as a blonde!! But that's the beauty of it....you could be a blonde one day and a brunette the next. No harsh chemicals in your hair...very little work. I'm such a wig advocate.haha

Jacqui - I'm still excited to see the pics with Eva :D I may ask my sister to model for me...I think products sell so much better when they are presented on an actual person.lol. And what island is Tim working on?!?!? Did I miss that somewhere?

Okay, a few more minutes until my hubby heads out to work...and then I gotta get started on my earrings again! I did the first stages of 40 pair yesterday and hopefully today I'll be able to finish them. I also made a super beautiful earring, necklace, slave chain bracelet set that I hope I can get some nice pics of. Well, I'm off for now...catch you guys later!!

Krystal- The island we live on. :) His company builds houses all over the lowcountry and Georgia, north Carolina and so on. When he has to check on the progress of homes on Hilton Head, he can sleep in a bit. Otherwise, we have to be up at 5am if his day starts in the office in Savannah Ga.

40 pairs, Wow! You have been super busy! Can't wait to see the set. I need to get started on more sets too. Enjoy your day!

Okay, workout time... Its weird, but I have been really having to push through finishing my workouts, I am getting a little too winded, headachy and dizzy... So weights today.. May have to make a Dr.'s appt. to make sure all is still well with me.

As for me, I woke up to a sale today! Always a great way to start the day! And guess what - it was one of the pink heart soaps I've been whining about lol. That soap was in 20 treasuries so far, which is awesome, but made me want to sell it even more.

I was kind of bummed the last couple days because of the hours I put into failed soap projects. Back to the drawing board tonight I guess. It's just frustrating because I have so little time and I hate wasting it like that :(

Jacqui....it is really crazy isn't it? she had to have known who it was when she saw the news, right?! i keep trying to find some measure of forgiveness for her....i mean she has to live with it, but as of now...i think it is still to new and i am worried the courts will let her off far to easily....i think the maximum she faces with the current charge is only 20 years....which is just not enough...i am closing tomorrow night, so hopefully i will be able to stop into the BNR =D

Tara- Can they also get her on drunk driving too? She admitted it to her brother in jail and those conversations are recorded. I don't know the laws there, but in Nevada you can be arrested after the fact. At least you used to be.

Morning everyone. Looks like another busy chat morning. Glad I could get in for a minute. Had a meeting with my student's quittance counselor this morning and just got back. Put a big crock pot of navy bean soup on for tonight and ready to head into the sewing room.

Updates. Got a text from a good friend that Ben was showing much improvement today! That was music to my ears. So glad to hear. No details, but just made my day.

My husband will not be going to Alabama this weekend. Jan and Charlie just had too much going on so he will try next weekend on his way back from TN if Charlie is still with us. We did send the pillow yesterday and they should get it tomorrow. I covered it completely with scripture verses and messages that others had sent for it.

Tara and Jacqui, thank you so much for reaching out to me from Tuesday. It meant so much to me and I'm so touched by everyone's concern. You are just an awesome team and I love each of you.

Nuria, hope you are feeling better by now. Krystal, you've sure been busy. Forty pair? WOW that's amazing even if it is just starting them.

I have a long red wig that I bought for a Halloween costume a few years back for work. Let me tell you, while it looked really good, it's too hot to wear wigs in Florida! I was dying by noon and couldn't take it off because my hair is short and flattened!

Tara, sure was glad to hear they caught to woman from the hit and run. No excuse, just no excuse. Hope they throw the book at her. Maybe then the lesson will sink in.

Peggy : I've been more or less ok the whole day, and now I'm starting to have headache again, so as I have to prepae something for dinner I'll take another pill.

Krystal-Love the ring. I love big rings, but cannot pull it off myself, I have such little hands. My mom, however, the bigger the better. :)

Peggy- Thank you for your concern. My appt. is on the 20th. With our new health insurance all of our Dr.'s will now be in Savannah. They picked this one for me, I have to get a referral from him for my annual mammogram and other Dr's. Oh, well at least we have health coverage. :)

Tura- I am sure I am fine. It is unusual so I am making sure I do check it out. They are scheduling me for blood work too, so i am sure they will be thorough. :)
Hope things get figured out with your healthcare soon. Lots of changes, ours changed too. Not so happy so far, but we will see. Our premiums went up, but our deductibles are lower. so We will see. Thank you.

Nuria- Take care of yourself. I have suffered with migraines off and on... For me caffeine is a trigger. Well, stress is too of course. Pickles or vinegar has always help my headaches. I hope you feel better soon.

Well, I checked the mail, and would you believe.... We finally received our refund. Four months later, but we got it. :) We will be filing 2013's this weekend, hopefully we get that one much sooner. :)

Made lots of stuff, but never did get to taking pictures, so I will make sure that is priority tomorrow, need to start listing new items again... I have been renewing items not even close to expiring.

Wow - I missed a lot. I had a Texas snow day, where it snowed less than an inch, but they don't believe in salting or plowing. It took me an hour to get a few blocks away. So I did a U Turn and head home.

Krystal - I love the ring! My hands are tiny and gross, so the bigger the better to cover my spider hands. Blech!

Migraines are the worst. I only get them when I'm low on the water intake. But we are all different.

I took advantage of being at home for cleaning. With work and the shop being busy, it was necessary. I got the 3 bathrooms out of the way and the laundry room. It all needed a good scrubbing!

Jacqui - I hear you on the new items!! I've got so many new pieces not listed I feel guilty now creating anything new.lol. I still haven't found my balance with daylight at this new place yet. It's a constant struggle. and yay for finally getting the refund!!lol. it's about damn time!

Just popping in quick tonight. Had GREAT news about Ben today. He squeezed his wife's hand when asked and when she asked if he wanted to shake a friend's hand he lifted his hand and was able to shake hers!

Later after our friend left he opened his eyes. She said you could tell he really wants to respond. We are thrilled beyond belief and just praising the Lord for this miracle.

Jacqui, glad that you are checking in with the doctor. Better to be able to chalk it off to nothing then ignore it and find out it's serious. Glad you FINALLY got your check! Bout time they got off their behinds and got it to you.

Krystal I LOVE the ring. My fingers are also very short and stubby so it would be lost on me but there will be someone out there who will have to have it! Oh and the wig was for a hippie chick one year and a flamenco dancer another. The hippie was definitely the better costume.

Dee I love your new listings. What unique work you do. Are they stamped or engraved?

I may not have cleaned today, but I did personalize a baby blanket for a young women who's expecting the end of this month. She found me by word of mouth so the word's getting out that I'm here. It turned out really cute.

Then this afternoon I started working on my tax worksheet for our accountant. Since I know we'll get money back this year I want to get everything ready and over to her asap. Dona, the worksheet made it so easy! I even figured out how to get the columns to add themselves!
