Good morning everyone

I am writing this Thursday night because I have to get up early again and go to the hospital.

I am going to keep this short and sweet. I want to thank each and everyone on here for their thoughts, prayers and support during this very trying week. My aunt is doing much better but we still do not have the results from the biopsies back- we are still trying to be optimistic but waiting is super hard. She and I are super close and I was named after her so I am very upset with going through all this and even more upset with my cousin and her unwillingness to be a caregiver to her mom.

I also found out tonight that my step sister is in the hospital having been admitted in the emergency room today. I will going to the other side of the city to visit her tomorrow too.

Dona thanks for your advice and concern. My other cousin came in from Texas tonight and Saturday we are all sitting down and discussing options.

I am sorry you are dealing with one of your cousins negativity on top of everything else. It could be as Dona said yesterday, she is just reacting badly to her fear of losing her Mom. People react differently. Hoping for your Aunt's sake that she is more active in helping out.
I bet your Aunt is very comforted in having you so completely in her corner willing to help her throughout what is to come. I know how easy it can be to forget your own health as you worry about hers, take care of yourself.
fingers crossed that those results come in today.
Hope all turns out well with your step sister. You are getting bombarded from all sides aren't you. Big hug from me, hope all brightens up for you soon.

Having a cup of tea right now while watching dvr'd Project Runway All Stars.
I am going to start weaving more of the Viking tube, then get a workout in. I plan to head to Eva's new house around 9ish, but I do not have her address, so hopefully she will be up when I call her. :) Hate to head all that way without a clue where I am going. It just slipped both of our minds when we talked last. :)
I am also going to stop by the college and see if they have some comp and photography classes I can take as a non credit course, I need to get a handle on both for my business. :) Mom also wants me to check into adult Spanish classes. She wants us to take it together, I've had 5 years of Spanish, but could use the refresher. :)

Tura, glad that your other cousin is coming in. Sounds like a family meeting is definitely in order. You can only do what you feel you need to do; you have no control over anyone else. They control their own actions. So don't waste energy on being upset with her. Perhaps as Dona said, she is dealing in a quite different way than you would and are. Sorry about your stepsister also. When it rains... Know that we are all with you.

Good Morning Peggy! Have you decided, will we be seeing the quilt listed when done?
Well, I haven't started any classes yet, so we will see how I handle it when I do. :) I will probably only take one or two at a time. But in the past, I have always juggled everything by scheduling, scheduling, scheduling and trying not to get flustered when something inadvertently happens to upset that schedule. I have always liked keeping busy. :)

Forgot to visit and give some of the threads some love, so off to do that now. :)

Jacqui - They really are precious times. She was a little parrot last night...adding more words than she would have just the day before. So much fun!

Working today and plasma this evening.

I got an Etsy message a couple days ago asking for baby powder scent. The fragrance oil supplier I use has the scent, so I agreed to do it. They want 75 votive candles!

Jacqui, I probably will list Kathy's quilt, if only because I want all you guys to see it! It's place in queque dropped because of the customer order. I checked online for order status on some of the fabric, and the site said they had nothing under my email. Funny, because I got an email confirmation when I placed the order. Needless to say, I will be calling them this morning.

As for me, I just got a sale a few minutes ago for a whipped soap - hurray! I swear every time I start to feel bummed out I'm not getting sales, one comes through. I also have to run a 3-piece lavender vanilla set to my aunt after work, so that's another sale.

Tura, hoping you've gotten some news today about your Aunt. Also praying that the delay is because they are taking their time to be as accurate as possible before passing on the information to all of you.

As I was praying for you this morning, I thought again about your cousin and since none of us knows what their relationship is like, it's easy for us to judge. But God was faithful to show me that not everyone is cut out to be a caregiver, even if they are our own children. I never thought of myself as a caregiver. That was a role that my older sister had always played, however the year that my mom battled leukemia, I was the one who was there for her both because I lived here but also because my personality and our relationship was better suited for that role. It could be the same with your cousin.

The one thing you don't want is someone caring for you who doesn't want to be there. Will continue to pray for unity within your family as you work together to make decisions in your aunt's best interest.

Jacqui, no wonder you need more hours in the day than you already have. Do you ever get to just sit down and relax? Proud of you for always being willing to learn more. You are an inspiration to the rest of us.

Ambur the baby powder scent sounds neat. My only concern is that it might be too cloying or overpowering a scent, but hey if that's what they want go for it.

Peggy, get your husband busy fixing your computer LOL. It's awful to have to share. Can't wait to see the quilt! You do such beautiful work.

Jennifer your new soaps are adorable! So cute and springy looking. Can't wait to see the pink ones now. I think a mixed set of red and pink would be pretty together.

Erica sounds like your day off isn't really a day off at all with all the errands, but hope you get some quiet time in there too.

Nuria, so sorry to hear that you are still under the weather. I'm glad you stayed home regardless of how your boss feels. You're actually doing them a favor by not spreading it around the office. Get some rest.

Had one lady for sewing class today. Two others signed up but called in to cancel after the class was supposed to have started. No matter, my one lady and I had a ball and can't wait to meet with her again next week.

Just finished the pictures from the three new tote bags and will go now to list them. I'll post them in here when I get them up.

Happy Friday everyone!

It's going to be a busy busy few weeks around here. I had 4 new orders by the time I got out of the shower this morning. And we've been trying to break down our shop since the lease is up. We are closing down the business we originally bought from this guy (who is now suing me for hours he supposedly worked). Anyway, he had sooooo much junk that we now have to go through and get rid of. Hopefully some of it will sell to bring in some cash. I don't have any experience with selling on Ebay but giving it a try. I just don't even know what half of the stuff is or if its worth anything. I'm going to need a vacation in February!

Jennifer, the new soaps are so cute! I was talking up the whipped soap today at Emmy's school-My daughter gave the secretary one for Christmas, and I wanted to see how she liked it. She loves it. I told her how to get hold of you to get more!

Bob got the computer fixed, bless his heart! Called about the fabric for my custom order, one was completely out of stock and Moda is discontinuing that collection, so I chose a substitute. Sent the pic to the customer and she loves it, and everything else is shipped, so I guess we averted that problem.

Okay, I will post Kathy's quilt. Hers is king and of course, it is not quilted, just the top is done, but it is pretty spectacular that way even. Should I price it for the king size, or a smaller size, with custom options available? A twin size would probably be $1000. That is a lot, but, oh my, all those little pieces!
