I have been on Etsy for just about a month now and have added 35 items to my shop, they are all made to order but haven't had any buyers. Can someone who is experienced on selling items, give me some pointers on how I can get my items to sell?

Do you have ads running? If not id get some under your shop/ search ads its only $7a week and you can stop them any time. Another good way is to copy links to all your stuffand post them on facebook, tumblr, instagram, anywhere on the web. Then pass around a few business cards hereor there if you don't have any go to vista print you can get 250 for free.

Thanks I did the promoting add for 7 dollars a week, already promote on facebook as I have a facebook page. Then just ordered the business cards thanks very much :) have they helped you?

Yes. Give them to friends to hand out, or family ask small businesses

Wow your shop is amazing (wish I could make cool things like that) Even though I have crocheted for years I haven't really haven't tried the more complicated things yet (actually branched out I only did blankets and hot pads). Now I can do more then that now (on easy designs) But haven't ventured yet into the more complicated designs yet. Working on getting there though I still sometimes have to ask my mom for help on reading the pattern directions as they confuse me still. I usually learn by watching someone else do it.

These are all great pointers! And very true. But my biggest piece of advice.... give it time! Seriously - orders will come in once more people start seeing your shop. My crochet stuff is starting to sell in decent handfuls, and I've been here for 4 months. Do craft fairs, get business cards, post like crazy on teams, etc. :) Your shop is very nice! I think you should have no problem selling. Just be patient!

Thanks brianna much appricated :) i have ordered business cards doing the promote thing for 7 dollars a week. stuff like that (got more people actually looking at my site now so it's only a matter of time I know just wanted more ideas to get it out there and you all have been very helpful :)
