Just wanted to also leave a wee note :
I know starting on Etsy is not as easy as it may seem. I remember talking to a person recently about how a girl who was a few years below me in college has just graduated and has sold over 700 illustrations in the last year, it seems without a precise marketing strategy. He said that sometimes that a person just has an idea and it takes off and people love it. With others it's not that the quality is any less, but it just takes a bit longer. I find it's almost like the fashion world. It's trends and tastes.
I've been trying to do this for a long time, constantly editing the products i make or changing my strategies, going from physical craft fairs to online sales to try and find what would give me most success. At the end of the day I love what i do - I love to draw, and make and create and want to do that for the rest of my life. We all need to find the patience, and experiment and test and try.
There isn't a "One fits all" recipe in selling your work. We are all different and unique and have variations on what "Success" means to each of us. It's what makes us special and we just need to persevere! We will get to where we want to be one step at a time! <3
