My mandatory entries always require the person to visit your shop and comment on a piece that they like. I promise to promote it through giveaway linkies, facebook, twitter etc. I always have the sponsor directly ship the product to the winner (I've heard horror stories of blog owners running off with the prize). I cannot guarantee it will generate a sale for you but at least one of the giveaways I did in the past directly resulted in a sale for that shop.
