Hi I'm Lisa. I'm back to my home state of Oregon but have lived in many states due to my husbands job. When we have time we like to go to the coast. We don't care if it's raining or snowing at the coast as long as we can sit by the fire and watch the waves from our motel room. We also like working in the yard in the summer.

I am surprised about you and Jacques wanting to travel to scotland!? lol! Me coming from the UK, have been many places in the UK. And Scotland isn't one I would chose say over cornwall. Cornwall is beautiful and so is wales. But I do agree, the countryside and lakes in scotland are beauitful! Shame about the haggis and the bagpipes! Whenever I do go abroad, I do see some beautiful places, but actually the UK is stunning. Rain or shine. I suppose it is quite expensive to travel here for foreigners...

Oh Scotland and I go way back. My father's side of the family acutally. My paternal great grandmother immigrated to the US from Germany and my paternal grandfather's family was from Scotland. Didnt know any of this until recently, actually but have always had a longing to go even when I was a young child. And haggis is out but I love the sound of the pipes.

As for 4 girls, well they were interesting! My youngest is turning 9 this month and she is my reward to keeping her sisters alive. They are worth it though.

I am excited about moving in but I hate the packing part. and the moving part. And the unpacking part. Anyone wanna come help? :)

I used to be big into scrapbooking but I haven't done much with it for the last two years. I still do it about once a month. I got interested in playing with beads when my daughter started doing it at age 10. The more I watched her, the more I wanted to do it myself.

I've been married for 21 years and have two teenagers (boy & girl) and two cats (boy & girl). My day job is in the advertising department of a newspaper (I create the print ads).

Hi everyone, I'm Emily Joy! I'm 24. I was born & raised in Michigan (right outside of Toledo, OH) and I've been living in Colorado for about four years now. I think if I had my way, I'd never move! Although I did see someone mention wanting to move to Canada - my fella and I have discussed that lately, especially since he wants to work on video games and Vancouver has fantastic gaming companies there.

Right now, during my down time, I mainly do my art. If I'm not doing that, I'm either making sure my cat is happy and/or I'm watching hockey. I also have a nephew who is the coolest person to ever exist, so I spend a lot of time watching him run around and destroy things. It's wonderful. Other than that, I'm reading or hanging out with friends. I don't go out too often, but that's due to a combination of lack of funds and laziness.

My name is Amanda. I'm old enough!!! Actually, I'm 33. I have 3 kiddos (7, almost 5 and 21 months) and I'm trying to adopt a boxer. I am in the middle of a divorce (that is going wayyyyyyyyy better than our marriage ever did, lol) and am loving it, lol. I live in Michigan (where I was born) but was raised in the Bay Area, California. I miss is tons! But, I could never afford a house with a yard and my three kids, all on a part time nanny position, if I were in California.
I love vacationing in Florida. I love road trips. I love bike riding (can't wait until my middle daughter gets faster, lol). I used to like to golf, but it has been too long. I love love love summer and the heat on my skin. I never complain about sweating but always complain about freezing. I only like snow for 3 minutes a year...

I'm Angi... Born in Michigan, live in Michigan but in between lived in South Beach, Maine and Chicago... am writing a memoir about the in between, lol!

Super hubs, two bio kids, our youngest was adopted... hoping to adopt one more!

We have a design/build firm and if Etsy were a religion I'd be on fire for it, hahaha! I also blog - but who doesn't? Trying to keep my head above water and not completely neglect everything else. Same old song, right?

well hello! i am from the uk but travelled the world for 10 years and ended up in colorado , usa....been in the retail game for nearly 15 years.....am nearly 40 ..yikes!!

still have more travelling to do....

i was born with a sense of humour..cant help it..once in in while it just comes out...

i have learnt that having humour in the forums over there is not a good idea, but can be so much fun. : )

Hi everyone! I'm Rosie AKA SparkleJunkie! I feel like I'm at a AA meeting or something! LOL!!

Sounds like there's alot of young people here. Well, I consider myself to be young at heart. And that's what matters, right? Ok, let's see.....something about me.....I was a career hair stylist for 30 years. Got sick had to quit and moped around for a couple of years. Watched ALOT of movies and read a ton of books. Then one day I thought that I wanted to make an anklet for myself, bought all the things that I needed for that, and more.

I started with making hair jewelry, then anklets, then bracelet's, then anything else I could think of. Spent a small fortune on supplies and decided that I'd try my luck at selling some of the things I made. It took a couple of months for that first sale but after that, I was hooked. It gave me new life and something to look forward to again. So a year later, I'm here telling you all my short story. I love this creative outlet and didn't know I could do any of these things. So this is my second career and I'm lovin' every minute of it!! Every day I learn something new and that's enough to get cha outta bed in the morning!!

My other loves are my husband Steve, and our 3 poodoo's. Rascal, he's 11 and a silver poodle. Lucy, she's 6 and a red poodle. And Bella, she's 1 1/2 and a black and white poodle. They keep me company during the day and entertain me as well! :)

We have all kinds of wildlife around us even though we live in the city. It's a very special area that would make you feel like you're in a park or in the woods. We've been here about 11 years and have seen Coyote's, Ground hogs, Racoon's, Opossum's, Skunks, Red Fox, White tailed deer(they visit every night) Wild Turkey's, Red Tailed Hawks, Barred Owls, and a multitude of beautiful songbirds. And we have Ruby Throated hummingbirds all Spring, Summer and Fall. So there's alot to see here and watch for. So I guess that would be like a hobby. Keeping an eye out around us to see who else lives here other than us humans!

Well, that's enough about me. I'm just happy to be here with the Fun Team and look forward to our endeavors and help our business at the same time. Oh, just so ya know. I grew up in Branson, Missouri so if you detect a bit of hillbilly in me, that's where it come's from!! LOL!!
