Omg, Andi I'm so nervous! I've never done this before. But it is with a local shop who sells only handmade items in her shop. She's going to take in some of my products and pays once a month (ugh, I know), but I don't have to do any of the "selling" there.
I can come in at any time and cross check my inventory with her to count what's sold and what's left. I wouldn't do the consignment unless it was local because I'm not comfortable sending my products somewhere and not getting paid up front.
I plan to write something stating X is selling this for me via consignment. Payments are once a month. And that they're responsible for my products until sold (ie theft, store closure, etc).
I've been reading up on it here, not too many good reviews, but there are still good things said and lots of tips.
