My new journey.

Well, my bangle mold has finally arrived!
I have started drawing down my ideas and what my new look is going to be. I have so much stuff to do before I can even start making.
I have recently moved into my grandmas house, as my grandad died a few years ago, and unforuntately my grandma has Alzheimer's. My grandad was a keen gardener and had a make do and mend mentally, so he has a work bench in the garden shed.
Now this shed needs clearing out! It will probably be a two day job, then I am able to start creating my wearable resin art.
I am then got to change all my policies, photographs, styling, website, shop notice, buisness cards etc to suit my new image.
Has anyone got a good website for business cards?
Anyone have some cool ideas for my new shop photos? I am thinking an all white background to show off the resin, but don't want to get lost with all the thousands of other white backgrounds... Perhaps white fabric?
I am going to keep making the cuff links, but I am no longer going to be making my normal jewellery. Jewellery that I cannot transform will be put on sale.
so excited about it!!!!

moo.com for business cards, they might be a little more expensive but the quality is outstanding (and they're in the UK too!)
Only use fabric is the texture isn't going to clash with whatever you put in your bangles, and remember to iron it! Nothing worse than seeing crinkles, i always find it distracting.

goog idea! I never thought about ironing it haha
I just cleared out the shed. Lots of spiders! Luckily I am not afraid of them. I just ordered two more molds from etsy, so I am planning on making three at a time, I have so many ideas and designs I am drawing them all down.
Once I get a decent income in I will invest in more elaborate molds. Seen some on here already! YAY

I love my little moo cards. I got the free ones to use as hang tags and they are sturdy and beautifully printed.
Good for you for caring for your grandmother. I know how hard that commitment can be. My dad had Parkinson's Disease and was in the end stages before he died. Stay strong and be patient.
Best luck with your new product and good for you for evolving. I think the key to success in this kind of work is to continue to move and grow.

It's taking forever! I am not happy with the type of resin I have currently - now I am selling it on ebay. I just bought a resin called easy cast - so hopefully that will be much better! :)

Re: My new journey.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother - it's great you are helping care for her.
I like the print in your photos to show scale, but when it's the whole background, it can be over-whelming. Maybe use print pages with less text and more white?
