Today was a beautiful day! Sun was shining bright, a few clouds in the sky, people out and about! The only thing was that it was windy! I mean wooooooooooooshhhh!
UGH! And that made it cold, LOL. Blah. Come on spring!
It is fantastic here in Colorado today...about 65 and sunny...and the best part...no wind today! (it is usually really windy here, especially in the Spring)
Lucky you two!!! I think the next few days are nice too here in CT, like today, just a wind factor that brings the chill down some! Glad spring is almost here!
We have some raised beds in our backyard and we grow everything from potatoes to raspberries and strawberries...some things more successful than others, but it's really fun to be able to go out and grab some herbs and carrots for dinner or something...:)
Oooo yeah! That sounds like a great idea!! And you can get seeds from like Lowe's or Home Depot? Sorry, I'm a gardening novice. Also, how do you keep the foods from being rampaged by insects?
We actually don't have a ton of bugs here in Colorado since it's so dry so I don't have any good answers for bugs...:) Although, we did have aphids completely take over our dill last year.
You can buy seeds from Lowe's/ Home Depot, but you can also get little plants that have already been growing for a year or 2. Strawberries don't technically produce fruit for the first year or 2 so if you can buy a plant that has already been growing...you will have a better chance at fruit...:)
It was bright, sunny, windy and chilly here in Central Il today. I cant wait for warmer weather although we have been really lucky weather wise this winter.
Another ridiculously beautiful day here in jersey. It has been so insanely warm here that everyone's daffodils are up and blooming. We don't usually see them for about 2 more weeks. Poor confused little daffodils!
It has been a strange past year with the weather in the UK. We had a very hot spring and autumn and a mild summer and winter. We now are in spring, and it is lovely, sunny and warm. Currently in London it is 16 degrees. I think that is 60 fahrenheit. It does get quite cold at night though.
Today is just beautiful! I'm feeling under the weather so I'm inside, but this week should be fantastic. I'm looking forward to it because I can take great photos when the sun is shining. :-)
Its nice and overcast here today in Central Illinois. I hope it rains because my car is coated in pollen! My poor light lbue car looks like its had a long night of drinking and my be sick. :( C'mon rain, I mean car wash!
