Photo Tips

Does anyone have any photo tips they'd like to share. Most of my photos either suck wind or need a LOT of photo shopping. I'm not kidding. I literally hate it. Anything to make it easier? Thanks.

Re: Photo Tips

What I like to recommend is to take a white table cloth (I got it at Walmart for cheap) or white paper and use it as a back drop outside. Because most of my items are not too big, I lie them down on the cloth and find the best angles to take pictures. Natural light is the best for taking pictures. It helps show the item's natural color; I hardly ever use flash. I see a lot of hats on your shop, is it possible to bring the hat and the model you use outside or somewhere where there is natural lighting? It doesn't always have to be outside, too : )

Re: Photo Tips

Thank you Hannah! I worked a little on that this week-end. I found some awesome material on sale so I tried that and some natural light. (I like using knit material because it doesn't wrinkle) Check my 4 newer pictures. I think they came out very well.

Re: Photo Tips

Hannah, the natural light made a world of difference. I didn't go outside, but took the pictures in my studio during the morning when there was plenty of light coming in. It only took me half the editing time. YaY!
